"One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today. - Dale Carnegie
We arrived in Sydney after an easy flight with Darius, he fell asleep before we even took off, and stayed asleep until the captain woke him up with the announcement that we were landing. The hostesses were all over him, giving him chocolate, and the twins scored an extra bar too. Dar enjoyed the landing, yelling out Woooaaaaah at the top his lungs, and making passengers around him laugh.
We met up with Aunty Jo, who was also staying in the same hotel as us, coz she's off to
Perth for work. We has dinner at the airport, and Jo joined me for my laps back and forth so I could get my 10,000 steps. :)
The hotel was nice, over looking the international airport. Darius didn't like the look of the beds, reckoned they were angry beds. It took him forever to go to sleep. I thought the bed was very comfy though, woke up dreaming I was in the Tardis (sounds from the planes), Shane assured me we'd be going on a plane not a Tardis though. Although in a way it will be a time machine because we leave Sydney at 3 pm Wednesday, fly for 14 hours and arrive at 10:30 am Wednesday.
Checked out, wandered the huge Sydney airport, and now I am sitting waiting for the plane and typing this.
Lots of fun coming soon, much love to everyone. x
